ABOUT STEVEN COLLINS

THE STEVEN COLLINS STORY

Through the experience and relationships established over more than 35 years, Steven Collins Fine Jewelry became the very best way to connect the most demanding clients to the best sources of finished jewelry.

After graduating college, Steven Collins began working at a jewelry factory near Philadelphia, PA where he learned all the facets of making 14K, 18K, and Platinum engagement rings, wedding bands, and eternity rings. Months later, Steven moved to Manhattan and began selling to major diamond houses, dealers, and other manufacturers who created their own custom lines of finished bridal and fashion jewelry.

Living in Manhattan and later, New Canaan, Connecticut, Steven began expanding his appreciation for “Guild” or the finest finished jewelry and their manufacturers, as well as, the customers who frequented and demanded the very best of them.

Realizing his passion for the industry, Steven went on to further his career at Tiffany & Co. Working primarily in their manufacturing divisions and their outside vendors he would become a part of establishing the standards of Tiffany & Co. quality assurance that became industry leading standards that would only be acceptable to such an iconic brand.

OUR MISSION

Designing jewelry to meet our clients needs using the best sources of diamonds , colored stones , pecious metals and jewelry craftsmen. To meet the budgetary needs of our clients using direct sources that eliminate costs and enable us to make Guild Quality Fine Jewelry that will last generations at a fraction of retail pricing.

OUR PROCESS

We listen first. We want to know what occasion you might be celebrating, who it’s for and what you might know about the jewelry you would like to acquire – and how we can help. Once we have an idea about what you would like this piece to be – we work with our sources to provide you with the best components for the best prices and a timeframe to build the jewelry you have specified. We then can provide an estimated cost within you budget. We work as broker/builders to make your special piece. All payments have to be made upon approval of the piece and before any manufacturing can take place.
